What the domain health check covers

Most email and website problems come from a handful of DNS settings that nobody looks at until mail starts bouncing or landing in spam. This free domain health check tests all of them at once and explains every result in plain words.

  • Blacklists: your mail server IP, your website IP and the domain itself against more than 50 public blacklists, including Spamhaus, SpamCop, Barracuda, UCEPROTECT, SURBL and URIBL.
  • Email authentication: SPF (with the 10-lookup limit counted for you), DKIM on common selectors, DMARC policy and reporting, plus BIMI, MTA-STS and TLS-RPT.
  • Mail server: MX records, a live SMTP connection, STARTTLS encryption, the mail server certificate and reverse DNS (PTR).
  • DNS: name servers, whether each one answers and agrees on the zone serial, SOA values and CAA.
  • Website and SSL: HTTPS status, HTTP to HTTPS redirect, HSTS and how many days your certificate has left.

Why it is different from other checkers

Other tools give you a long table of passes and fails. This one sorts every finding into what to fix first, tells you why it matters, and gives you the exact record to paste where it can. It also avoids false alarms: a Cloudflare zone serial is not flagged as an error, and blacklists that refuse to answer are shown as unknown, not as clean or listed.

Who should run it

Run it when emails go to spam, after moving hosting or email, before a marketing campaign, and every month as a routine check. It is free, needs no sign-up, and you can share or save the report as a PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. It is free with no sign-up. There is a fair-use limit of a few full reports every few minutes per connection.

Usually because SPF, DKIM or DMARC is missing or wrong, the sending IP has no reverse DNS, or the domain is new. The report shows each of these.

It starts at 100 and drops for each error and warning. 90 and above is excellent, 65 to 89 needs attention, and under 65 means mail is likely to be filtered or spoofed.

DKIM keys live at selector._domainkey.yourdomain. We try 20 common selectors. If your provider uses a custom one, open any email you sent, find the s= value in the DKIM-Signature header and enter it under Advanced.

Unknown. Some lists only answer registered DNS servers. Treat it as not checked, not as clean or listed.

Yes. Fill in the form under your report and an engineer will send a fix plan for your domain. We handle SPF, DKIM, DMARC, blacklist removal, reverse DNS, SSL and business email setup.
