Book a discovery sprintComplex or enterprise app?
Marketplaces, delivery apps with live tracking, fintech, healthcare, or apps that connect to an ERP or several third-party systems start with the discovery sprint. You get a fixed quote and milestone plan at the end of the week.
We sign an NDA before you share your idea. You own the source code, backend and data, and the app is published under Google Play and Apple developer accounts registered in your name. Google charges a one-time US$25 to open a Play Console account and Apple charges US$99 a year for its developer program; these fees, cloud hosting, SMS, maps and other third-party services are paid by you or billed at actual cost, never marked up. All prices exclude GST, which is charged at 18% as applicable.

Apps that do one job well for your customers or your team, built to work on budget Android phones and slow mobile networks as well as on iPhones.
Android and iOS from one codebase
One Flutter or React Native codebase that ships to both stores, so you pay for one build and one set of fixes instead of two.
React Native or Flutter?Booking and ordering apps
Appointment booking for clinics, salons and coaching centres, or ordering apps for restaurants and local stores, with confirmations by push or WhatsApp.
Internal business apps
Field-staff attendance, site visit reports, stock checks, delivery photos and order taking, replacing paper registers and spreadsheets.
Customer loyalty apps
Points, offers, referral codes and order history for repeat customers, with push notifications you can send from a simple dashboard.
Progressive web apps (PWAs)
An installable web app that opens from the home screen and works on any phone without a store download. Often the right first step before a full app.
Website, PWA or app?Admin panels and APIs
The web dashboard your team uses to manage the app, and the API behind it, connected to your website, billing software or CRM.
Not sure whether App Lite is enough?
Send us a short description or a voice note of what the app should do. We will tell you on WhatsApp whether it fits App Lite, needs an MVP, or should start with a discovery sprint.
How your app gets built
Timings below are for a typical MVP of about 10 weeks. App Lite usually takes 4 to 6 weeks. Your timeline is written into the quote, and you get a test build on your phone every two weeks.
- 1Week 0
Scoping call, NDA and quote
NDA signed, then a 30 to 45 minute call about your users and must-have features. You get a written scope and fixed quote within 24 hours, or a recommendation to start with a discovery sprint.
- 2Week 1
Kick-off and prototype
You sign the scope and pay the first milestone. We map every screen and build a clickable prototype of the main flows so you can try the app before any code is written.
- 3Weeks 2–3
Design
Screens designed in your brand and checked on small Android phones and iPhones. You approve them before development starts.
- 4Weeks 3–8
Build in two-week sprints
App, backend and admin panel built in short cycles, with a test build on your phone after each one.
- 5Weeks 8–9
Testing and beta
Testing on real devices and slow networks, crash reporting on, and a closed beta with a few of your staff or customers.
- 6Weeks 9–10
Store submission and handover
Store listings and privacy details prepared and submitted, then the code, logins and a recorded walkthrough handed over.
What you provide before kick-off
- A Google Play Console account in your company's name (we guide you through it)
- An Apple developer account; an organisation account needs a free D-U-N-S number, which can take a week or more
- Your logo, brand colours and any photos or product data
- Text for the app and store listing, or notes we can turn into text
- API documentation and test access, if the app uses your existing backend
- A Razorpay or other payment gateway account in your name, if the app takes payments
- A privacy policy page on your website, or details so you can have one prepared
- One person on your side who can test builds and approve each milestone
Flutter vs React Native vs native: which do we use?
For most business apps we recommend Flutter or React Native, because one codebase covers Android and iOS. We recommend fully native apps only when the app depends on features that cross-platform tools handle poorly.
| Flutter | React Native | Native (Kotlin + Swift) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Codebases | One for Android and iOS | One for Android and iOS | Two, one per platform |
| Look and feel | Same design on both platforms | Uses each platform's own components | Fully platform-specific |
| Performance | Compiled, smooth animations | Good for typical business apps | Best for heavy graphics, AR and background work |
| Build and maintenance cost | One team, one set of fixes | One team, one set of fixes | Roughly two builds and two sets of fixes |
| Good fit for | Custom UI, consistent branding | Teams already using JavaScript or React for the web | Camera-heavy, Bluetooth, AR or games |
| Used in App Lite | Yes | Yes | No, quoted separately |
We pick the framework in the scoping call based on your features, any existing code and who will maintain the app later, and we write the reason into your scope.
Website, PWA or app: which do you need?
Many businesses that ask for an app get more from a fast website first. An app pays off when the same customers or staff use it again and again.
| Website | Progressive web app (PWA) | Mobile app | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | Being found on Google by new customers | Repeat use without a store download | Daily or weekly use by known customers or staff |
| How people find it | Google search and links | Google search, then "add to home screen" | Google Play and the App Store, plus your own promotion |
| Push notifications | No | Yes on Android; on iPhone only after it is added to the home screen | Yes |
| Works offline | No | Partly, for pages already opened | Yes, if built for it |
| Phone features (camera, GPS, contacts) | Limited | Some | Full |
| Updates | Instant | Instant | Through store review |
| Starting cost | Nexta from ₹14,999 + GST | Market estimate ₹60,000–₹2,00,000 | Nexta App Lite from ₹49,999 + GST (narrow scope); MVP from ₹2,50,000 + GST |

What does an app cost in India?
App prices vary more than website prices because "an app" can mean six screens on Firebase or a full platform with its own servers. These are typical market ranges so you can compare like with like.
| Type of app | Typical price | What you usually get |
|---|---|---|
| Progressive web app (PWA) | ₹60,000–₹2,00,000 | Installable web app, push notifications on supported phones, no store listing |
| Simple single-platform app | From ₹80,000 | Android or iOS only, 5–8 screens, standard features, basic custom backend |
| Cross-platform MVP (Android + iOS) | ₹2,50,000–₹6,00,000 | 5–15 screens, custom backend, admin panel, payments, 6–12 weeks |
| Full production app | ₹6,00,000–₹15,00,000 and above | 15–25+ screens, several user roles, integrations, built to scale |
| Nexta App Lite | From ₹49,999 + GST | Android + iOS, up to 6 screens, Firebase or your existing API, no custom admin panel or server |
| Nexta MVP app | From ₹2,50,000 + GST | Custom design, backend and admin panel, fixed quote after scoping |
Market ranges are estimates based on prices published by Indian app agencies in 2025–2026 and match the figures in our own guides and calculator. They are not quotes. App Lite sits below these ranges because it removes the three largest cost items: there is no custom server (it uses Firebase or an API you already have), no custom admin panel, and no more than 6 screens built from standard components. If your app needs any of those, it is an MVP, and we will say so before you pay anything. What drives price: number of screens, custom vs standard design, backend work, admin panel, payments, real-time features such as chat or live tracking, and integrations.
Seven app mistakes we see most often
Building too many features in version one
Every extra feature adds weeks and cost before you learn whether anyone uses the app. Launch the few flows that prove the idea first.
No plan for the backend
Where the data lives, who manages it and what the server costs each month should be decided before design starts, not after launch.
No analytics
Without analytics you cannot see which screens people use or where they drop off. Every app we build has analytics and crash reporting.
Ignoring store review rules
Apple and Google reject apps for missing privacy details, broken test logins, no account deletion or thin content. We check their current rules before submitting.
No maintenance budget
Android and iOS change every year, and Google Play requires apps to target recent Android versions. Unmaintained apps get hidden from new users or break.
Accounts in the developer's name
If the store listing, code or server belong to the developer, you cannot update your own app without them. We set everything up in your name.
No offline or slow-network handling
Many users are on patchy 4G. Apps should save work, retry quietly and show clear messages instead of freezing or losing data.
Want a number for your app idea?
Our calculator gives you a range in 60 seconds. Send it to us and we will turn it into a fixed quote or tell you if App Lite fits.
App maintenance after launch
After your free support period, an annual maintenance contract keeps the app working and in the stores. It costs from ₹8,000 a month + GST, or about 15–20% of the build cost a year for larger apps, whichever is higher. It is optional.
Android and iOS updates
Fixes for each new Android and iOS version, and updates for Google Play's yearly target-version rule.
Bug fixes and crash monitoring
We watch crash reports, fix problems in the app, backend and admin panel, and publish updates.
Security and library updates
Framework, plugin and server updates applied and tested so security patches do not fall behind.
Backend, backups and costs
Server monitoring, backups and a check on your monthly cloud bill.
Store compliance
Privacy declarations, data safety forms and listings updated when Apple or Google change rules.
Small changes each month
A set number of hours a month for content, text and small screen changes.
