Software testing services that find bugs before your customers do

Independent testers check your website, app or software the way real users break it: on cheap phones, slow networks and odd inputs. You get bug reports a developer can act on, and automated tests that keep catching regressions after we leave.

  • One-off test cycles and automation builds are priced per project; ongoing release testing is a monthly plan sized to how often you ship.
  • A real person on WhatsApp within 15 minutes, Mon–Sat 10 am–7 pm IST, in Bengali, Hindi or English.
  • You own the work. Code, files, accounts and data stay in your name, with an NDA on request.

Software testing at Nexta, in short

Software testing services check that a website, mobile app, API or business software works correctly before and after each release. Nexta offers manual testing, automated regression with Playwright, Selenium and Appium, API tests with Postman, and load tests with JMeter or k6, with clear bug reports and test plans. It suits startups, SMEs and agencies in India and abroad. Pricing is per project or per month, with a fixed quote within 24 hours; a first test cycle usually takes one to two weeks.

Signs you need independent testing

“"Customers find the bugs before we do"”

The first sign of a broken checkout is an angry Google review or a WhatsApp message from a customer. Nobody tested the release on a real phone.

“"Every fix breaks something else"”

The developer fixes the coupon code, and now GST is calculated wrongly on invoices. There is no regression suite, so old features silently fail.

“"Our developers test their own code"”

They check that the feature works the way they built it, not the way a confused customer will use it. Edge cases, slow networks and older Android phones never get looked at.

“"The site went down on our biggest sale day"”

Traffic from a festive offer or an exam result day was many times the usual level and nobody knew the limit until it was hit.

“"Our automated tests fail randomly, so we ignore them"”

Someone wrote Selenium scripts two years ago. They break on every design change, take an hour to run, and now everyone just clicks re-run.

Software testing services we offer

Manual and exploratory testing

Experienced testers work through your product with a test plan, then go off-script to try what real users do: back button mid-payment, double taps, pasting emojis into name fields, switching apps during OTP.

Automated regression tests

Playwright for web apps (it drives Chromium, Firefox and WebKit), Selenium where your team already uses it, Appium for Android and iOS. Tests run in GitHub Actions or GitLab CI on every pull request, with stable selectors so they do not crumble when a button moves.

Mobile app testing on real devices

We cover the phones your customers actually use, including budget Android handsets with little memory, plus iPhones. Cloud device labs such as BrowserStack fill gaps, with network throttling to mimic patchy 4G.

API and integration testing

Postman and Newman collections, or code-based tests, that check every endpoint for correct responses, error handling and permissions. Payment webhooks from Razorpay or Cashfree, SMS and WhatsApp callbacks are tested in sandbox modes.

Performance and load testing

JMeter or k6 scripts that simulate your expected peak, then push past it to find where response times collapse. You get a report naming the slow queries or endpoints, not just a graph.

Basic security checks

OWASP ZAP scans and manual checks for common mistakes: exposed admin URLs, missing rate limits on OTP, other users' orders visible by changing an ID in the URL. Deeper penetration tests are scoped separately.

Test plans and release checklists

Written test cases in a shared sheet, TestRail or Qase, linked to features, so anyone can see what was tested for each release and what was not.

How a testing engagement works

  1. 1Day 1-2

    Product walkthrough

Your team shows us the product, the riskiest flows (usually login, payments and data entry) and the devices and browsers that matter most.

  2. 2Week 1

    Test strategy and plan

We write what will be tested manually, what will be automated, on which devices, and what is out of scope. You approve it before work starts.

  3. 3Week 1-2

    First test cycle

Manual testing of the agreed flows, with bugs logged in Jira, Linear or GitHub Issues, each with steps, screenshots or video, device details and severity.

  4. 4Week 2-4

    Automation build

The most repeated and highest-risk paths are automated and connected to your CI, so every release runs them without anyone remembering to.

  5. 5Each release

    Retest and report

Fixed bugs are verified, a regression run confirms nothing else broke, and you receive a release report with known open issues listed honestly.

What you get

  • Test strategy document with scope, devices and browsers
  • Test cases for each feature in a shared sheet or test management tool
  • Bug reports with steps, evidence, environment and severity
  • Automated test suite (Playwright, Selenium or Appium) in your repository
  • CI pipeline configuration that runs tests on every pull request
  • API test collection with environment files
  • Load test scripts and a performance report with bottlenecks named
  • Release sign-off report listing what passed, failed and was not tested

Pricing

Fixed quote within 24 hours

One-off test cycles and automation builds are priced per project; ongoing release testing is a monthly plan sized to how often you ship. After a free call and a look at your product, the written quote reaches you within 24 hours. Device lab subscriptions such as BrowserStack, if needed, are billed at cost.

Every price shows GST and the total. Nothing is added after you enquire.

What you get from our testers

Bug reports developers do not argue with

Every report includes exact steps, expected and actual results, a screen recording, the device and build number. Developers can reproduce it in minutes instead of replying "works on my machine".

Automation that is kept small and stable

We automate the flows that matter and avoid brittle tests for every pixel. A short suite that runs in minutes and passes reliably is more useful than a huge one nobody trusts.

Tested on Indian conditions

Budget phones, Bengali and Hindi text, UPI payment flows, slow networks and Indian number and address formats are part of our standard checks, not extras.

You keep everything

Test cases, scripts and CI configuration live in your repository and tools. If you hire an in-house QA later, they start from a working suite, not a blank page.

Is this right for you?

A good fit if

  • Startups and SMEs with one to five developers and no dedicated tester
  • Agencies who want independent QA before handing a project to their client
  • Businesses preparing for a launch, a festive sale or a big marketing push
  • Teams whose releases keep breaking older features

Probably not the right fit if

  • Very early prototypes that change daily; a short checklist is enough until the product settles
  • Formal compliance certification audits, which need an accredited auditor
  • Teams expecting testing alone to fix poor code; it shows problems, developers still have to solve them

Software testing: frequently asked questions

Something else? Call +91 7500-4300-91 or WhatsApp us.

It depends on the size of the product, the number of devices and platforms, and whether you need a one-off check or testing every release. A single test cycle for a small website is far less work than automating a multi-role app. After a free call and a look at your product, we send a fixed written quote within 24 hours, either per project or per month.

If you have one to five developers, outsourcing usually makes more sense: you get experienced testers and tooling without a full-time salary, and pay only for the work your release schedule needs. Once you ship several times a week with a larger team, an in-house tester embedded with developers becomes worth it. We hand over everything so that transition is easy.

Most products need both. Manual testing finds usability issues and strange bugs a script would never think of. Automation re-checks the same important flows on every release, cheaply and quickly. We usually begin manually, learn where the risk is, then automate the paths that are repeated most and would hurt most if they broke, such as login and payment.

Playwright is our usual choice for new web projects because it is fast and handles modern front-ends well. We use Selenium where your team already has it, Appium for native Android and iOS apps, Postman or code-based tests for APIs, and JMeter or k6 for load. Bugs go into whatever tracker you already use, such as Jira, Linear or GitHub Issues.

A first manual cycle on a typical website or app takes one to two weeks, including the test plan. Building a starter automation suite takes another two to three weeks. After that, retesting a normal release often takes a day or two. We commit to dates in writing so testing fits your release plan rather than holding it up.

Yes. We test on physical Android and iOS devices and use cloud device labs for wider coverage. We specifically include low-memory, budget Android phones, older OS versions and slow network conditions, because that is where many Indian users are and where most crashes and timeouts appear.

Not for manual, API or load testing; a test build and test accounts are enough. For automated tests we prefer access to your repository so the tests live alongside the code and run in your CI pipeline. We sign an NDA on request and work in a separate branch or folder that your developers review.

Yes. We test for product teams and agencies in the UK, the Gulf, Australia and North America. Working from India means overnight test runs can be ready when your day starts. We can test with local formats, currencies and payment sandboxes, and quote in USD, GBP or AED.
