Accounting and inventory moves

Tally to ERPNext, Zoho Books, Busy or custom billing software: ledgers mapped to the new chart of accounts, party-wise outstanding bills, GSTINs, HSN codes, stock items and units. Cut-over is planned for a month-end so no GST return straddles two systems.

Excel and Google Sheets into real software

Years of spreadsheets with merged cells, free-text dates and colour-coded notes are turned into structured records. We agree with you what each odd column actually means before writing a single import.

CRM and customer data migrations

Leads, contacts, deals, notes and attachments moved between Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, LeadSquared or a custom CRM, with owners, stages and history kept. Duplicate contacts are merged by phone and email rules you approve.

Database and server migrations

MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server and MongoDB moves, version upgrades, and whole-server moves from shared hosting or an old VPS to a new VPS or AWS, GCP or Azure. Files are copied with rsync and checksums; databases with dumps, replication or AWS DMS depending on size and downtime allowed.

Cleaning and de-duplication

We find duplicates, blank mandatory fields, invalid GSTINs and phone numbers, and impossible dates. You get a list to decide on, rather than us silently deleting anything.

Validation and reconciliation

Row counts, sums, trial balance, stock value and sample records are compared between old and new systems in a report you sign off. Scripts are written in Python and SQL so every run is repeatable.

Cut-over and rollback plan

A written run-sheet says what happens hour by hour on switch-over day, who checks what, and the exact point at which we roll back to the old system if a check fails.

    User check

What makes a migration safe

We do not call a migration complete because the import finished without errors. It is complete when the trial balance, stock value and customer counts match, and your team has signed the reconciliation.

Test runs before the real one

Every project includes at least one full trial migration into a copy of the new system. Problems show up in the sandbox, not in front of your customers.

Nothing deleted without your say

Duplicates and bad records are flagged for you to decide. A merge log records what was combined, so any decision can be traced months later during an audit.

Servers handled in-house

The price depends on how many systems you are moving from, how many records, how messy the data is and how little downtime you can tolerate. Moving one clean Excel sheet is quick; moving ten years of Tally with inventory is a larger job. We look at sample data on a free call and send a fixed written quote within 24 hours, so the price does not grow halfway through.

Most small and mid-sized projects take two to six weeks, including at least one trial run and user checks. The actual switch-over is usually a few hours, planned for a weekend or month-end. Large ERP moves with many years of history take longer. You get the cut-over date in writing with the quote.

Yes. We export masters and vouchers from Tally, map ledgers to the new chart of accounts, carry party-wise outstanding bills, GST details and stock, and match the trial balance before go-live. We usually advise moving opening balances plus a limited period of detailed history, and archiving the rest, to keep the new system fast and the project affordable.

Not if the process is followed, and we prove it rather than promise it. A verified backup of the old system is taken before anything moves, every run is reconciled with counts and totals, and your team checks real records. The old data is also archived in CSV or SQL so it stays readable even if the old software stops working.

Usually only for a short window. Trial runs happen in a copy while you keep working normally. On cut-over day, we freeze entries in the old system for a few hours, run the final migration, reconcile, and switch. For servers and databases we can often use replication so the downtime is minutes.

Access to the old system or full exports, access to the new one, and one person from your side who knows the data, often the accountant or sales head. That person approves the field mapping and checks sample records. If the old system has no documentation, we work it out from the data itself, but it helps if someone can answer questions.

Yes. We sign an NDA on request, work with read-only access wherever possible, keep copies on encrypted storage, and delete working copies after handover. Customer and employee data is handled in line with India's DPDP Act expectations. We never use your data for any other purpose or move it outside the systems you approve.
