IT infrastructure management for offices that do not have an IT team
We look after the servers, network, backups, user accounts, licences and laptops your business runs on, write everything down, and answer to a written service level. If we ever part ways, the next person gets the full picture on day one.

IT infrastructure management at Nexta, in short
IT infrastructure management services mean an outside team runs your business IT day to day: servers and NAS, office network and Wi-Fi, backups, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace users, software licences, laptops and desktops, and the documentation behind them. Nexta does this for small and mid-sized offices in India and abroad, mostly remotely with planned visits where needed. It is priced monthly by users and devices, with a fixed quote within 24 hours. Onboarding takes two to four weeks.

Where small office IT usually goes wrong
“"Our IT person left and took the passwords with him"”
Nobody knows the router login, the domain is registered in his personal email, and the Tally server admin password is a mystery. Everything works, until it does not.
“"We think we have backups"”
There is a hard disk on the server that someone copies to, sometimes. Nobody has ever tried restoring from it, and it sits in the same room as the server.
“"The internet goes down and the whole office stops"”
Billing, GST filing and WhatsApp orders all depend on one broadband line and a cheap router that needs restarting every day.
“"We pay for licences nobody uses"”
Microsoft 365 and antivirus renewals arrive every year for staff who left long ago, while new joiners share one login.
“"The local computer shop only comes when something breaks"”
They fix the immediate problem and leave. Nobody looks at patches, warranty dates or why the same PC keeps failing.
What our IT infrastructure management services cover
Servers, NAS and the Tally box
We manage your on-premise Windows or Linux servers and NAS devices such as Synology: updates, disk health, user shares and permissions. The machine running Tally or your ERP gets particular care, because the whole accounts team stops when it does.
Office network and internet
Router and firewall configuration (MikroTik, Fortinet, Sophos or similar), separate Wi-Fi for guests, and a second internet line with automatic failover where it makes sense. Switch and cabling layouts are mapped and labelled.
Backups you have actually restored
A 3-2-1 style setup: a local copy for quick recovery, an off-site or cloud copy, and one that ransomware cannot reach. We run test restores on a schedule and report the results.
Users, email and access
Joiners and leavers handled the same day in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and line-of-business apps. Shared passwords move into a company password manager such as Bitwarden, and multi-factor login is switched on.
Laptops, desktops and patching
Every machine is enrolled in a remote management tool so Windows updates, antivirus status and disk health are visible in one place. Remote help reaches staff in minutes without them hunting for an AnyDesk code.
Licences, renewals and assets
An asset register (Snipe-IT or a shared sheet) lists every device, licence, domain, SSL certificate and digital signature token with owner and expiry date. You get reminders before things lapse, not after.
Documentation that outlives us
Network diagrams, admin credentials in a vault you control, vendor contacts and step-by-step runbooks. Written so a new IT person or another provider could take over without calling us.
How onboarding works
- 1Week 1
Discovery visit or remote audit
We list every device, account, licence and service you rely on, and note what is risky, undocumented or about to expire.
- 2Week 1-2
Take back control
Admin passwords are reset and stored in your vault, domains and accounts are moved into company ownership, and old staff access is removed.
- 3Week 2-3
Fix the urgent gaps
Backups, patching and endpoint protection are set up first, because those are what stop a bad day turning into a lost month.
- 4Week 3-4
Monitoring and documentation
Devices are enrolled in monitoring, the asset register and runbooks are written, and you receive the first infrastructure report.
- 5Ongoing
Monthly run and review
Day-to-day support, patching, restore tests and renewals continue on schedule, with a short monthly report and a quarterly review call.
What you get
- Infrastructure audit with a prioritised risk list
- Asset register of devices, licences, domains and certificates
- Network diagram and IP plan
- Admin credentials in a password vault owned by your company
- Backup plan with scheduled, documented restore tests
- Joiner and leaver checklist, applied every time
- Monthly report: tickets, patches, backups, renewals due
- Written service levels for response by priority
- Runbooks for common tasks and emergencies
Pricing
Fixed quote within 24 hours
IT infrastructure management is a monthly plan priced by the number of users, devices and servers, plus a one-time onboarding fee for the audit and clean-up. Once we have a device and user count from a free call, a fixed written quote follows within 24 hours. Hardware, software licences and cloud backup storage are billed at cost, with no hidden markup.
Every price shows GST and the total. Nothing is added after you enquire.
Why owners stay with us
Everything is written down and yours
Passwords, diagrams and runbooks sit in accounts your company owns. We would rather you could fire us easily than feel trapped, and that keeps us honest.
Server work by people who run servers
Our own hosting brand, TPHOST, runs shared hosting and Indian VPS servers, so Linux, Windows Server, backups and security patching are daily work for us, not occasional jobs.
Backups proven by restoring
A backup that has never been restored is only a hope. Test restores are part of the monthly routine, and the report says what was restored and how long it took.
Plain language, no lock-in contracts
Reports are written for the business owner, not for engineers. Contracts are monthly after onboarding, with a clear notice period and a full handover if you leave.
Is this right for you?
A good fit if
- Offices with roughly 5 to 100 staff and no full-time IT person
- Businesses whose single IT person needs backup and documentation
- CA firms, clinics, schools, traders and factories in Hooghly, Kolkata and beyond that depend on a local server
- Companies with branches that need the same setup and policies everywhere
Probably not the right fit if
- Large enterprises needing a 24x7 staffed NOC across many sites
- One-off repair of a single laptop; a local service centre is better value
- Offices wanting IT run without any written policies or password changes
